[SoundBites] Tony G speelt het One Drop toernooi toch maar niet

Bij PokerNews hebben we een speciaal plekje in ons hart voor Tony G. Niet in de laatste plaats omdat hij de grote baas is van het bedrijf, maar ook omdat hij altijd zorgt voor actie natuurlijk. Aan de pokertafel schreeuwt hij het uit en werkt hij mensen tegen zichzelf in het harnas en ook als hij niet zelf aan het pokeren is dan is er altijd wel wat te doen. Zelfs nu hij niet eens in Las Vegas zit houdt hij de gemoederen bezig, of juist omdat hij er niet is misschien. Dit lezen we in zijn laatste blog:

[...] The plan in Venezuela is simply to qualify for the Olympics, I know we are qualified! I have had to sacrifice entering the One Drop at the WSOP for the sake of my country. It is a shame this clashes as I have recently been in Minsk and am well fattened up from there and healthy you could say.

Guy is doing a great thing in Vegas for an amazing cause so I encourage you to rail my Team PartyPoker.com team mate Mike Sexton from here on. I have channelled my energy through him so he’ll crush Robl if necessary. No WSOP This Year

My next poker tournament is going to be the WPT Cyprus 4th – 9th August, subject to Olympic commitments. No WSOP for me this year.

Tijd om te bellen met meneer G want we hadden hem graag in actie gezien. In het gesprek van tien minuten vertelt hij onder andere over het basketball team waar hij de manager (en sponsor) van is en over het One Drop toernooi waar hij dan misschien zelf niet aan mee doet maar wel twee andere heren in zet:
