@lonmceachern helping the game = being the face of a site that cheated plyrs out of 10s of millions, then stole all the remaining deposits? And don't forget, Hellmuth doubled down on UB after cheating news broke, signing new contract and continued to promote them. Surely Hellmuths continued presence drove even more deposits that were eventually stolen. how does he get a free pass on this?

@msalsberg tv poker is a small part of overall poker growth, having personalities in general in an important part of tv poker appeal. In many cases it was the tv producers who turned the characters into stars, that couldve happened with so many different people

Here's what I think is a parallel argument: Should we say all NBA players' skills/personalities don't matter bc if we got rid of them then the next tier of athletes would replace them no prob? Certain players Jordan/magic/bird contributed to real growth. Same w/poker

@randyohel my first instinct when I read this is that HPT is actually doing things EXACTLY right! :-) It's an amateur tour so if it keeps pros and sharks away it benefits the primarily targeted customer IMO
